Welcome to WhatWearNext (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). We take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. Please read this policy carefully before using the App.
1. Information We Collect
The App is a local outfit management tool. We follow the principle of minimal data collection:
- Photo Data: Photos of clothing items and outfits that you take or select from your photo library. These photos are stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
- Outfit Information: Outfit records you create, including names, seasons, and occasion tags.
- Item Information: Item details you add, including names, brands, and categories.
2. Analytics Data (Telemetry)
To improve the App and understand how it is used, we collect anonymous analytics data through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. The data we collect includes:
- Feature Usage: Which features are used (e.g., setting an outfit for tomorrow, marking an outfit as worn)
- Aggregate Counts: Number of outfits and items in your wardrobe (as anonymous statistics)
- Purchase Events: Whether the paywall was shown and purchase completion status
- App Events: When rating prompts are displayed
3. How We Use Information
The information you provide is used only for the following purposes:
- Display and manage your clothing items and outfits within the App
- Sync data across your devices via iCloud
- Provide the "What to Wear Tomorrow" outfit selection feature
- Improve the App based on anonymous usage analytics
4. Data Storage and Security
We take the following measures to protect your data:
- Local Storage: All data is primarily stored on your device, protected by iOS system-level encryption.
- iCloud Sync: If you enable iCloud, data will sync to your personal iCloud account. iCloud uses end-to-end encryption, and we cannot access your data.
- No Server Transmission: The App does not transmit your personal data to any third-party servers (except anonymous analytics to TelemetryDeck).
5. Third-Party Services
The App may use the following third-party services:
- Apple iCloud: For cloud data synchronization, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- App Store: For in-app purchases, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- TelemetryDeck: For anonymous analytics, governed by TelemetryDeck's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any advertising services.
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Access: You can view all saved data within the App at any time.
- Modification: You can edit or update your items and outfits at any time.
- Deletion: You can delete any item or outfit record at any time. Uninstalling the App will delete all local data.
- Export: You can save outfit photos to your system photo library.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not designed for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child has used the App without consent, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you through in-app notifications. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
